The fun and friendly workshop is suitable for a wide range of people who can already swim 25 meters or more and are comfortable in deep water and wearing goggles, including:

 

- Self-taught swimmers who are looking for expert, individualised assessment. 

- Triathletes looking to improve their stroke, use less energy, and improve their swim times. 

- Open water swimmers

 

Comprising of one two hour pool session in a small group with personalised feedback and classroom presentations the workshop focuses on mastering the freestyle stroke through three fundamentals:

 

- Balance & Stability: Become 'weightless' by learning to work with gravity instead of fighting it and calm your kick. 

 

- Streamlining: Learn to have a longer, better aligned body shape, and move smoothly through the water. Streamlined swimming means that you travel farther with each easy stroke.

- Whole Body Propulsion:  Maximise power through rhythmic, relaxed weight shifts initiated in the core.

Included as part of the workshop is a personal video analysis by Total Immersion Workshop Director James Harding, which you will receive after the workshop via a download link. The analysis will cover positives, things to work on, and suggestions for next steps.

Booking pre-conditions: swimmers participating in the workshops must be able to swim at least 25m freestyle/front crawl stroke and be comfortable in 2m deep water, wearing goggles (Schwimmbrille) and with their face and hair in fully the water.

Cancellations before the workshop date will incur a fee of 50% of the ticket price due to fixed costs (venue hire etc.)​
